Our Gallery

Real spaces. Real play. Real North Queensland.

Every LEAP playground is one of a kind, designed around its site, handcrafted in our workshop and built for children to explore. Here's a look at some of the spaces we've brought to life.

Climbing

Bespoke timber climbing structures that challenge little bodies and build big confidence. Every one is designed for its site and handcrafted in our workshop.

Before & After

From bare, tired yards to spaces children can't wait to explore. See what's possible with a little imagination and a lot of timber.

We breathed new life into this existing playground. Posts were sanded, ground back and repainted, the "plastic fantastic" was replaced with timber decking and bespoke timber panels, and we added a new two-storey extension. A rope bridge now joins the two platforms, and the unused space underneath has become a shopfront for imaginative play, linked to the new extension by a walk-through tunnel.

We gave this existing playground a new lease of life. All posts were sanded, ground back and repainted, then fitted with new timber decking and bespoke timber panels to replace the "plastic fantastic".

We kept what was still in good shape and transformed the rest. The old softfall and artificial turf were replaced with new shock pads and fresh artificial turf, the existing posts repaired and repainted, and all the "plastic fantastic" stripped out. The sturdy steel platforms stayed, now fitted with bespoke timber panels, a wobble bridge, a play shop, monkey bars and a fireman's pole.

The swing frame was still in good condition, so to get more value for money we kept it. We stripped it right back, sanded, ground and repainted it, then clad it in timber. The old shock pads and artificial turf were replaced with new, and the rusted playground posts were removed to make way for new bespoke playground components.

Swings

Timber swings built for the simple joy of flying high, from gentle baby swings to big-kid favourites.

Creeks & Waterplay

Dry and wet creek beds, channels and pumps where children can splash, build dams and discover how water flows.

Music & Sound

Timber xylophones, drums and chimes that invite children to explore rhythm, sound and making music together.

Balance, Bridges & Tunnels

Stepping logs, wobbly bridges and crawl-through tunnels that build coordination, core strength and a sense of adventure.

Sand & Mud

Sandpits, mud kitchens and mud pits for digging, mixing and messy, hands-on fun. The best kind of play.

Yarning Circles

Welcoming spaces to gather, share stories and connect, inspired by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander yarning traditions.

Decks & Cubbies

Natural timber platforms, hideaways and cubbies for imaginative play, quiet moments and outdoor learning.

Anything else you can imagine !

Pirate ships, fire trucks, boats and beyond. If you can dream it, we'd love to build it.
